80s Prom Theme Party: Help Me Pick My Dress!

I'm totally psyched! I'm going to an 80s prom (again!). This time, I'm all grown up but willing to act like a kid again. I think most people love an 80 theme party, but the 80s prom theme takes it up a notch!

1980s Party Dress Option 1

The 80s prom is a fundraiser to benefit the local children's hospital. It will be held at a high school gym, complete with an awesome DJ, lots of appetizers and drinks, a balloon arch, and everything 80s! Oh, and the best part: my husband is searching for a 1980s trans-am for the full experience!

This prom will be even better than the one I attended 20 years ago!

But I really need help. I found a fantastic 80s dream dress, but only minutes too late on ebay. I couldn't bid fast enough and I did not get the dress!

Now I'm on the hunt for the perfect 80s prom dress. I've posted some pictures and I would love your thoughts.  Which ones scream 1980s prom?

Here what I was thinking when I picked these dresses:

1. I need an xs size
2. I want to wear something very colorful (I would love pink)
3. I want it to be a "prom dress" versus "cocktail dress"
4. I want to spend under $50 (although many of these are more...)
5. I want to look good (but authentic)
